Jisbar

Jean-Baptiste Launay (born in 1989) is a prominent figure in the world of pop-street art and is widely recognized by his pseudonym, JISBAR.

Jisbar has exhibited in numerous galleries worldwide, including prestigious museums such as Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, the National Museum of Immigration’s History in Paris, the Museum of Art & History in Santa Cruz, California, the Technology and Maritime Museum in Malmö (Sweden), and the Postcard Museum in Bau (France).

His artwork, a blend of reality and fiction, offers a unique perspective on the external world.

In 2019, Jisbar made history as the first artist to launch a piece of art into space, creating a one-of-a-kind exhibition. Each of Jisbar’s pieces is more than just a tribute; it is enriched with words, phrases, numbers, and drawings, constructing an entirely new story to be decoded. This encourages the audience to focus on every detail, uncovering new elements with each new glance.
